About department | Department of Geography was established in the year 1990. Department of Geography is one of the important department in Adarsh Mahavidyalaya, Omerga, it has been affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Dr. Bhaskar Ramrao Shinde (M.A.P.h.D.) is the current Head of the Department.The education of Geography has got importance in all times because it provides education about unlimited wants and scare means. It helps to solve the geography problems of human being. This subject play major role in History, Political science, Sociology, Economics, Science, Statistics and Mathematics. It helps to develop the study in general knowledge of students to achieve the goal in the competitive examinations.
